Caritas Czech Republic announces collection to help flood victims
Flood warnings are unfortunately coming true. Almost the entire territory of the Czech Republic is facing extreme rainfall and flooding. The situation is particularly critical in Moravia. Our colleagues in the municipalities affected by the floods have been tirelessly helping and will continue to help.
We are immediately releasing funds from our emergency fund for the first phase of assistance. However, the damage and the need for assistance will increase in the hours ahead. That’s why we have announced a collection Caritas for the Flood Victims.
The money raised will help us provide food, drinking water, and basic necessities for families who have been left homeless. And then help rebuild their homes.
