On Wednesday, 1 October, from 5 p.m., a ceremonial opening of the photographic exhibition Gaza Beyond the Headlines will take place at St. Cajetan Church in Nerudova Street, operated by Archdiocesan Caritas Prague. The event will coincide with a mass in honour of the church’s patron saint, St. Cajetan, celebrated by bishop Václav Malý. The bishop will also introduce the exhibition and offer a personal reflection on its message.

The Caritas of the Archdiocese of Prague has won another public tender and will thus continue for another four years in assisting compatriots who have decided to relocate to the Czech Republic. This is one of the most successful integration programs in the Czech Republic, which Caritas has been dedicated to since 2015.

An extraordinary event in the recent history of Caritas of the Archdiocese of Prague transpired during this year’s National St. Wenceslas Pilgrimage in Stará Boleslav. Pope Francis rewarded the Director and Deputy Director of Caritas of the Archdiocese of Prague for their lasting professional work in assisting the needy. The decoration was delivered by Archbishop of Prague and Primate of Czechia Jan Graubner.
